Introduction of Pomace Dryer
Pomace with high moisture content is difficult to store and transport. After drying, it can be used for animal feed, paper making, biofuel, and other applications. Our pomace dryer can rapidly reduce the moisture content of wet pomace from 80% to below 12%. The drying process is as follows: first, the pomace is crushed (if necessary), next, it is dewatered (if the moisture content exceeds 65-75%, a screw dehydrator is used to lower it to 50-65%), finally, the pomace is fed into the dryer.
Due to the high moisture, high sugar content, and easy adhesion of pomace, a special scattering and lifting device is installed inside the dryer to prevent the pomace from adhering to the wall.

Working Principle of Pomace Dryer
The complete pomace dryer system includes heating part, feeding machine, crushing machine, rotary dryer, discharging machine, and cyclone dust collector. Wet fruit pomace is evenly fed into the rotary drum via the feeding system. Under the combined effect of hot air (either co-current or counter-current) and drum rotation, the material is continuously lifted and dispersed by the lifting plates, ensuring full contact with the high-temperature air and rapid moisture evaporation. The dried pomace is discharged from the outlet, while the exhaust gas is released after dust removal and purification.
