Introduction of Cyclone Dust Collector

Cyclone Dust Collector

The High-Efficiency Cyclone Dust Collector is a specialized air pollution control device that uses centrifugal force to separate particulate matter from gas streams. Engineered for reliable industrial performance, it effectively captures particles larger than 5-15 microns.

While standard cyclone systems typically achieve a dust removal efficiency of over 80%, our modern high-efficiency cyclone dust collectors can reach filtration rates above 85%. This makes them an essential component in industrial drying lines, woodworking, and mineral processing, offering a cost-effective solution for pre-separation or final dust extraction.

Advantages of Cyclone Dust Collector

01

High Separation Efficiency

Specifically optimized for 5-15μm particles, reaching up to 85% efficiency with modern modifications.

02

Low Maintenance Costs

Requires minimal routine maintenance and has no filter bags or cartridges to replace within the cyclone itself.

03

Wide Range of Applications

Suitable for dust collection in drying plants, woodworking, grain processing, mining, cement production, and other industrial applications.

04

High-Temperature Resistance

Suitable for hot gas and dust streams when designed with appropriate materials and specifications.

05

Dust Recovery and Reuse

Collects separated dust in a hopper, allowing reusable materials to be recovered and reducing material waste.

06

Compact Design

Occupies relatively little floor space and can be integrated into various industrial dust collection systems.

Working Principle of Cyclone Dust Collector

Outer Downward Vortex: As dust-laden air enters the cylinder tangentially, it forms a powerful spiral flow that moves downward along the inner wall. The centrifugal force, far greater than the gas density, hurls dust particles toward the wall. Once they lose momentum due to friction and gravity, the particles fall into the collection hopper.

Inner Upward Vortex: Upon reaching the bottom of the cone, the clean air reverses direction, forming a central inner vortex that rises through the axis of the collector and exits via the exhaust pipe.

Secondary Flow Capture: A small portion of the gas flows toward the top cover and down the outside of the exhaust pipe. It eventually merges with the central upward flow, ensuring that even finer particles are managed within the system cycle.
