Introduction of Biomass Pellet Burner

Biomass pellet burner is a stove that burns compressed wood or biomass pellets to create a source of heat; The semi-gasification combustion avoids the slagging of biomass particles during the direct combustion. And precise control of air distribution, feeding, gasification and combustion have been adopted to achieve combust efficiently and cleanly; the efficiency of which can reach more than 98%. It is widely used in all kinds of boilers, industrial kilns and spraying, drying, conveying, aluminum melting and other thermal energy industries.

  • Chemical and pharmaceutical: Manufacture & dry

  • Painting industry: bake coating & solidified spray

  • Foundry industry: dry welding rod & solder

  • Abrasives industry: dry grinding wheel & thermal insulation material, fiberglass, aluminosilicate fiber & FBT etc

  • Agriculture products and food industry: bake & dry coffee, tobacco, vegetable, grain, noodles, seafood, bean, etc

  • Heating engineering: heating for factory, civil building, etc

Advantages of Biomass Pellet Burner

01

Complete Combustion

Low-pressure operation effectively avoids tempering and degasification for complete, high-efficiency combustion.

02

Precise Fuel Feeding

A high-precision fuel conveying system provides accurate and smooth feed.

03

Low-Temperature Gasification

The gasification chamber burns at low temperature and pyrolyzes at high temperature.

04

Wide Load Adjustment

Thermal load can be adjusted quickly across 30%–120% of rated load, with fast start-up and response.

05

Clean & Low-NOx

Low-nitrogen, low-temperature segmented combustion keeps NOx at or below 300 mg/Nm³.

06

Low Dust & Sulfur

Dust is 1/10–1/20 and sulfur 1/100 of type-II bituminous coal; after treatment, tail gas approaches natural gas.

Working Principle of Biomass Pellet Burner

Biomass pellets are continuously fed into the horizontal combustion chamber by a screw feeder. An ignition rod lights them automatically. The blower supplies primary and secondary air, with the secondary air entering tangentially to create a swirling flame. The pellets burn thoroughly in a semi-gasified, fluidized state inside the chamber, producing a high-temperature flame and flue gas at 800–1200℃, which are ejected through the burner nozzle into the connected hot air furnace or dryer. A PLC system automatically controls the feed rate, air-to-fuel ratio, start and stop, while a UV flame sensor confirms successful ignition.
