Introduction of Coal Dryer
Rotary dryers are widely applied for coal dewatering. Equipped with varied lifting, cleaning and crushing assemblies inside the drum, they effectively resolve material sticking on cylinder walls during drying.
This coal drying system suits lignite, raw coal, carbon coal, anthracite, bituminous coal, lean coal and meager lean coal. Drying temperature, pressure, air volume and rotating speed are precisely adjusted based on coal characteristics. The drum diameter ranges Φ1.9–Φ3.4 m, length 24–40 m, with capacity of 300–2500 T/D. It lowers moisture from 40±5% down to 10±2%.

Working Principle of Coal Dryer
There are many lifting boards in the cylinder body. Through the rotation of the cylinder, lifting boards are driven to throw and spread the material continuously. Moreover, the crushing device of the cylinder wall breaks the material again. The lifted material is fully in contact with the hot air coming from the air induction system to exchange heat, evaporate water, and discharged from the outlet.
