Introduction of Wet Dust Collector

Wet Dust Collector

The Wet Scrubber is an advanced dual-stage dust collection system engineered for the most demanding industrial environments. By combining impingement water bath technology with wet stainless steel mesh filtration in a single tower, it delivers a highly effective solution for capturing fine particulates and toxic gases.

With a filtration efficiency exceeding 99%, the wet scrubber is the preferred choice for industries such as coal mining, ceramics, casting, boiler emissions, and refractory material production. Its ability to handle high-concentration dust while keeping operating costs low makes it a superior alternative to traditional dry filtration in high-humidity or high-temperature settings.

Advantages of Wet Dust Collector

01

Ultra-low Emissions

High removal efficiency for fine particles, ensuring a particulate matter (PM) emission concentration of less than 5 mg/Nm³.

02

PM2.5 Control

The removal rate for PM2.5 exceeds 94%.

03

Synergistic Pollutant Control

Effectively eliminates "gypsum rain" and "ammonium sulfate rain," controls ammonia slip, and prevents GGH (Gas-Gas Heater) scaling/fouling.

04

Aerosol & SO3 Removal

Removal efficiency for aerosols and sulfur trioxide (SO3) is higher than 60%.

05

Low Operating Cost

Features low power consumption and minimal operating resistance (pressure drop < 300 Pa).

06

Heavy Metal Sequestration

Mercury (Hg) removal efficiency is approximately 40%, with mercury-laden ash removal exceeding 76% and an overall heavy metal pollutant removal rate of up to 98%.

Working Principle of Wet Dust Collector

Core Components:

Central Inlet Duct: Directs high-velocity dust-laden gas to the primary treatment zone.

Impingement Water Bath: A heavy-duty reservoir at the base that captures coarse particles through high-energy turbulence.

Multi-Layer Stainless Steel Mesh: A secondary filtration matrix that uses liquid film interception for fine particulates.

Continuous Mist Spray System: A network of high-atomization nozzles that saturates the mesh and provides a self-cleaning function.

Automated Ash Discharge Mechanism: Ensures continuous removal of collected sludge without interrupting operation.
