Introduction of Coconut Shell Carbonization Machine
The coconut shell carbonization machine utilizes a horizontal, continuous, oxygen-free carbonization process. While whole coconut shells can be fed directly, pre-crushing them to 10–30 mm and maintaining a moisture content below 15% is recommended to ensure uniform carbonization and consistent product quality. The equipment features an integrated pre-heating and drying section to evaporate surface moisture. Material is continuously tumbled and conveyed through a sealed drum, undergoing drying, pyrolysis/carbonization, and cooling before discharge. Combustible flue gas generated during carbonization is recovered and recycled to provide heat; the resulting coconut shell charcoal features excellent porosity, making it an ideal raw material for high-end activated carbon.

Specialized inlet and discharge designs keep the system sealed during operation; material enters continuously while finished charcoal is discharged, with a daily capacity of 20–120 tons.
