Introduction of Beet Pulp Dryer
Beet pulp is a byproduct from the processing of sugar beet. Its high moisture content makes it especially difficult to store, transport, and handle further. Drying the beet pulp to a moisture level of around 12% significantly reduces transportation costs and enables further processing, such as granulation. Moreover, the dried beet pulp serves as an excellent material for use as animal feed. Normally, the initial moisture of beet pulp is higher than 80%-85%, so a dehydrator is first used to reduce the moisture to around 65% before the material enters the rotary dryer, thereby easing the dryer's workload and reducing drying costs.
Our beet pulp rotary dryer system, specially designed for this material, can convert wet beet pulp into dried product with a moisture level of 10-12%. A special lifting and crushing device is installed inside the dryer to prevent the material from sticking to the wall. We can also provide a complete Drying and Pellet plant, offering a one-stop solution for our customers.
Advantages of Beet Pulp Dryer
Compact Footprint
The machine length is shortened by 50%, reducing the building area and saving about 40% of cost.
High Automation, Large Capacity
High degree of automation and large processing capacity allow continuous operation.
Low Heat Loss
A special dispersing device, sealing device and effective heat-preservation system reduce heat loss and save drying costs.
Automatic Temperature Control
Electrical centralized control automatically adjusts the hot-air temperature for optimal drying performance.
Dust-Free Operation
A dust-removal device completely avoids dust pollution and meets environmental protection requirements.
Multiple Heating Source
The heat source can be coal, gas, oil, biomass particles, steam, etc.
Working Principle of Beet Pulp Dryer
The beet pulp dryer system mainly consists of a dewatering machine, heat source, feeding machine, feeder, rotary drum dryer, discharging machine, draft fan, discharge system, and power distribution cabinet.
Wet beet pulp is fed into the rotary drum dryer, where it comes into direct contact with hot air. As the drum rotates, lifting plates continuously lift and scatter the material, ensuring uniform drying. Moisture evaporates and is carried away by the exhaust gas, while the dried beet pulp is discharged from the outlet.
