Introduction of Coffee Grounds Dryer
Spent Coffee Grounds (SCG), a common by-product of coffee production, contain a high moisture content of approximately 85%, making them difficult to store, transport, and reuse. Our coffee grounds drying system adopts an efficient pre-dewatering and drying process to reduce the moisture content to around 10%, preparing the material for further processing and utilization.
For a complete processing solution, we also offer integrated pelletizing systems that convert dried coffee grounds into biomass fuel pellets and other value-added products. This enables customers to achieve a convenient and efficient one-stop solution, from wet coffee grounds to finished pellets.

Working Principle of Coffee Grounds Dryer
First, the wet coffee grounds are conveyed to the rotary drum dryer by a belt conveyor. As the material moves through the dryer, it comes into full contact with the hot air, allowing the moisture to evaporate efficiently. After drying, most of the dried coffee grounds are discharged through the outlet and conveyed by a belt conveyor. The remaining fine particles and dust are carried into the cyclone dust collector and then the baghouse dust collector, where they are separated and collected. Finally, with the assistance of the induced draft fan, the collected material is discharged through the conveyor.
