Introduction of Sludge Rotary Dryer
Dongding Sludge Rotary Drying System suits various high-viscosity sludge. It processes sludge at ~85% initial moisture down to dry powder below 10% moisture. Weight drops by about 60% and volume reduces 4–5 times after drying, lowering transport costs and environmental risks.
We customize retention time, drum size and airflow (co-current/counter-current) based on sludge properties. Internal lifters, cleaning and crushing structures prevent wall sticking. The drum can be carbon steel or stainless steel.
This system is suitable for municipal, sewage, petrochemical, papermaking, printing & dyeing, tanning, electroplating, bio-fermentation sludge, plus coal sludge and coal slurry. Dried output can be used as fertilizer or biofuel and more

Working Principle of Sludge Rotary Dryer
The whole sludge rotary drying system consists of the dehydrator machine (if needed), feeder, sludge rotary drum dryer, discharging machine, induced draft fan, cyclone dust collector and distribution cabinet, etc.
First, sludge with high water content undergoes dewatering in a dewatering machine, then transported to the rotary drum dryer by the belt conveyor,where it will fully contact with the hot air. with the running of drum dryer, material with hot air moves to the end of dryer body.
After drying, most of the dry material will be discharged through the belt conveyor, the left material will go into the cyclone dust collector, where the dust will be collected, then discharged through the conveyor.
