Introduction of Clay Dryer
Clay is a natural mineral material with excellent properties. It is widely applied in metallurgy, chemical, cosmetic, steel and petroleum industries. As raw clay contains a certain proportion of moisture, proper drying is required to unlock its full industrial value.
Our clay dryer is a rotary drum dryer custom-built for clay drying. The moisture content of finished clay can be reduced to below 5%.
Equipped with specially designed lifters, self-cleaning assemblies and crushing structures inside the drum, it effectively solves the material sticking problem. The particle size after drying can be controlled under 8 mm. It is also widely used in the building material, metallurgy, chemical and cement sectors for drying bentonite.

Working Principle of Clay Dryer
Firstly, wet material is crushed by the crushing machine, then transported to the rotary drum dryer by the belt conveyor. Because of the inclination of drum dryer, material with hot air moves to the end of dryer body, during which process wet material gets fully contact with the hot air. After drying, most of the dry material is discharged through the belt conveyor. The left materials mixed with dust continue go into the cyclone dust collector and the bag dust collector in sequence, where the dust will be collected. Lastly, with the function of induced draft fan, the left material will discharged through the conveyor.
